Kitu is a little fox 🦊. The design is from a plushy I bought on the Inari yama in Japan.
So I have no clue on who made the design. All 3D and renders by me tho.
This is my first Blender project outside tutorials. Using the plushy that accompanies me everywhere is
well suited, I think.
Here are some cool stickers made with him. Feel free to use them as long as you keep the attribution.

My first concrete try at adding fur to Kitu. The face elements are protected so no Clipping occur, and some strand fur go over them instead, like it would in real life. Proud of the result, even if it does not achieve the result I wished initially.
Last test of the day. I'm getting closer to what I'm aiming for (look only at the cheeks). But I'm not sure my computer can handle so much hairs for the rest of the body. #blender

Can do better 😅. Fur is hard, on me and my computer. #blender
End of the day, The rigging is mostly done. I have an issue with the belly white fur. Details, details... Otherwise, the result is nice.
In addition the pipeline to re-generate automagically thumbnails for all poses is done and working.
Tomorrow , few more face expression and poses. After that FUR!#blender
Day two on #Kitu with #blender. The goal is to finish the model to be able to rig and put the furr later.
First, the big mouth shape part. After creating the thing, the topology was not good. My IA teacher told me I need to get rid of triangle in the topology because they create too much tension. Sooo I made Kitu relax. Personally , I do not see the difference.
I'm not expert enough to really understand the need for clean topology, but I accept the "it will behave odd later, so fix it Human!"
If you see a difference, tell me. (the lighting difference is just here to help see if there is any difference 😅)
Learning #blender by doing. After finishing the tutorials and NOT eating a donut because 3D is not edible; here I am trying to replicate my everyday plushy in 3D.
This is #Kitu. they follow me everywhere, but today is Xerox time!
Body was not that hard. But the ear was a pain in the ***! I ended up following www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKI4... to create the ear itself, and then cut holes in the head and ear to attach them together.
The blend is seamless. I'm really proud of the result. It is not a perfect copy of the plushy, but close enough for me. I home fur will play nice with that shape.
